Frequently Asked Questions

spacer
The answers here are from my experience, and working with our customers who have wands.
spacer
Question: I want a taper on my wand.
spacer
Answer: Tapers are no problem. We do a lot of them. If the wand diameter D6 size is less than 5/16, I do not like to taper the wand, as it will not leave enough material to radius the inner end of the wand. For instance, if you taper a wand down to 1/4 = 6.3mm, you only have enough room to drill a 1/8 = 3.2mm drain hole. This only will leave 1/16 = 1.6mm of material on each side of the drain hole to radius. This is OK if you can only take a 1/4 = 6.3mm wand. For wands over 3/8 = 9.5mm in size, I recommend a starter taper to help get it started. One thing to remember: Once a wand is in you cannot tell if it is tapered or not!!

Question: I want a wand smaller than 1/4 = 6.3mm, it doesn't look like you make them.
spacer
Answer: No we don't! Those sizes under 1/4 just do not seem safe to me. You have all the same problems as the taper questions, smaller than that you have nothing to radius and the end becomes sharper around the drain hole, it would more resemble a paper punch and you have no paper in there. I want to make something that will be fun, not cause a problem.

Question: How long can I keep a wand in?
spacer
Answer: Some keep them in 24/7, some just for play. Keep it in as long as it feels good.

Answer: Every day or two.

Question: How long should a wand be?
spacer
Answer: We make them all lengths, most find that 3 = 89mm to 4 = 102mm are the most comfortable for the long term. We make some longer than that, but a lot of those are returned to shorten because they were just too long!

Question: My wand hurts or burns when it is in. Why?
spacer
Answer: The wand is too long, or the D6 wand diameter is too big. It is not a problem to shorten a wand or to reduce the diameter, just return it, and we will work on it for you.

Question: How long will it take from order to shipment of the wand?
spacer
Answer: I strive to give you the type of service I would like to have if I were your customer! The norm is 3 to 5 days. I will tell you 1 to 2 weeks, but that gives us a bit of wiggle room.
